Tres Fine Maraichere
45 days.
Very early summer-harvested variety, most often found in salad mixes as finely cut white blanched leaves with a mild, slightly bitter taste. Adds just the right amount of texture and bite to lettuce salads. Plant like lettuce; close spacing of 8-10 inches promotes some self-blanching. For complete blanching, pull up outer leaves and tie together with a rubber band.

Newly redesigned Irish Eyes t-shirts. The same artist Cindy Davis, who has designed our catalog cover for many years. Has really outdone herself with this wonderful design. She took the globe and flatten it and used all sorts of vegetables as countries. The front has our name on the upper left chest. The back has the veggie world with, "If you carrot all lettuce give whirled peas a chance". These organic cotten T's are made in South Carolina. Natural off-white is a European cut that runs 1 size large and then shrinks one size.
