These tiny wasps have a wingspread of about 1/50 of an inch and are a very efficient destroyer of eggs of more than 200 species of moths and butterflies which are leaf eaters in the larval stage, e.g. armyworm, bagworm, European corn borer, cutworm, tomato hornworm, and cabbage looper.
