Cabbage is a versatile, hardy plants. Plant several different varieties with different maturity dates to have cabbage all year long. Cabbage is sensitive to crowding, so spread plants out. When cabbage reaches proper size for its variety, harvest before splitting. Splitting can be a problem if you use a sprinkler or during a rainy spell after heads are fully mature. Be sure to provide plenty of water during hot, dry periods. One packet = 1 g = 250 seeds sows 50'. 1 oz. = 4700-11000 seeds.
