Details

An early white open pollinated corn devolped from Native American seed stock by Steve Zwinger. Dakota Ivory is a dry flour corn that grinds easily with a sweet unigue taste. It can also be eaten as a white sweet corn. Matures even in short growing seasons requiring only 1650 corn growing degree days to reach maturity. Plants are 4-6 feet tall with 1-2 ears per plant. Eare averae 6-8" with 10-12 rows per ear. It is tolerant to cool soils with good seedling vigor.
