Plant as soon as ground can be worked in the spring. MIN. SOIL TEMP: 35 degrees Fahrenheit. GERMINATION: 3 weeks. SOIL: Slightly acid pH 6.0-6.8. PESTS: APHIDS: Control with beneficial insects or soap sprays. PARSNIP WEBWORM: Problem for seed production. Remove affected flowers and spray crop with pyrethrum mixed with Bt.
