    What flavor! It has always ranked high in our yearly taste tests and has gained considerable popularity recently. This Amish heirloom dates back to Pennsylvania in the 1880\'s and yields large (up to 16 oz.), semi-flattened, deep red fruits on a large indeterminate vine. The yield is moderate and the fruits are often variable, but the flavor is excellent. This variety has some difficulty maturing in the north. Protective culture, such as cloches or cold frames, will help you to fine ripen these delicious fruit. Indeterminate.
