Cylindra Beet

Cylindra Beet is a classic heirloom variety prized for its unique cylindrical shape, making it ideal for uniform slicing and easy kitchen preparation. Its smooth, deep red roots grow 6–8 inches long with sweet, tender flesh and very little zoning, offering exceptional flavor and texture for a wide variety of culinary uses.

Perfect for fresh eating, roasting, pickling, canning, and juicing, Cylindra produces more usable slices per root than traditional round beets. The vigorous plants also yield abundant, nutritious greens that can be harvested young for salads or cooked like spinach.
