Spring Violet Garlic is a super early Asiatic-type hardneck variety and one of the first garlics to emerge in the spring. This beautiful variety produces attractive bulbs with purple-streaked clove wrappers and a bold, punchy flavor that lasts. With 8–10 cloves per bulb, Spring Violet offers an excellent balance of easy peeling, strong flavor, and unique appearance.
Spring Violet is especially valued for its exceptional flavor and ease of use in the kitchen. While it does not store beyond the winter months, its vibrant flavor and beautiful cloves make it well worth growing. As with other Asiatic varieties, Spring Violet is best suited to mild or southern climates where it can thrive and reach its full potential.
