Description

Pre-nuclear potatoes are the earliest generation of potatoes. These are grown from tissue culture in our greenhouses. As these have never been grown in native soil and they are free of disease. These marble sized tubers can produce high yields of up to 200% or more by weight. Warba produces high yields of uniform oval tubers with very smooth golden skin and white flesh. The “Pink Eye” nickname derives from the pinkish-red splashes around the eyes of the tuber. These potatoes have a delicious flavor steamed, boiled or fried. They are great for storage and are scab-resistant. Excellent for growing in short-season areas.
