Description
Pre-nuclear potatoes are the earliest generation of potatoes. These are grown from tissue culture in our greenhouses. As these have never been grown in native soil and they are free of disease. These marble sized tubers can produce high yields of up to 200% or more by weight.
This potato has an unusual pear shape, deep yellow-tan skin and waxy yellow flesh. A buttery taste that is good boiled, baked, fried or included in soups. This excellent keeper needs the lush, long season of the maritime Northwest to really perform. With consistent moisture, it will continue to yield until frost. This potato is the #1 yellow, our best-selling late season variety. (15 count)
