3-4″ yellow globes with sweet, tender, mild, deep golden-yellow flesh and very fine flavor. Medium top for cuttings that keep well. Nice to cook for mashing. Tastes more like a sweet rutabaga than a turnip. Excellent for home gardeners. 1859 heirloom.
