Description
Garlic starts shipping mid-September, cannot be shipped sooner. Softneck garlic is available in fall and early spring.
Inchelium Red Garlic is an Artichoke-type softneck variety originating from Inchelium, Washington, on the Colville Indian Reservation. It produces large 3″+ bulbs with 8–20 well-sized cloves. The flavor is mild but lasting, with a subtle hint of heat that can intensify during storage. Dense cloves store very well, making this a dependable long-keeping garlic. This vigorous variety won a Rodale taste test of 20 garlic strains and was named “Very Best of the Softnecks.”
