Description
Green Husk Tomatillo is a productive, open-pollinated variety known for its bright green fruits enclosed in papery husks and its tangy, citrus-like flavor. As the fruits mature, they fill out the husk and develop a firm texture with a refreshing tartness that is essential in many traditional dishes.
A staple in salsas, especially salsa verde, tomatillos are also excellent for sauces, roasting, and cooking. Plants are vigorous and highly productive, often yielding large quantities of fruit over the season.

Tomatillos require warm temperatures and well-drained, fertile soil for best growth. Plant at least two plants for proper pollination and fruit set. Harvest when husks are filled and begin to split. Remove husks before use and rinse fruits to remove the natural sticky coating.
