Description

Pre-nuclear potatoes are the earliest generation of potatoes. These are grown from tissue culture in our greenhouses. As these have never been grown in native soil and they are free of disease. These marble sized tubers can produce high yields of up to 200% or more by weight. These beautiful potatoes have smooth dark purple skin with violet splashes and pure snow white flesh. They are great for mashing with excellent flavor. These very early potatoes store well and are drought-resistant. This high-yielding potato was developed at North Dakota State University in 1962.
