Description
A Northwest Favorite for Generations
This gourmet sweet onion variety has long been a source of pride in Washington State’s renowned onion-growing region. Well-suited for long and intermediate day areas with winter temperatures above -10°F, it can be direct-seeded between August 15 and September 1, then overwintered under a light mulch for harvest in late June to early July.
In colder climates, we recommend starting seeds indoors and transplanting seedlings outdoors in early to mid-April. Please note: this is not a storage onion.
Ships January–March only. Ship date cannot be changed.
