Description

Beauregard is a very widely grown and popular variety with dark red-orange skin and moist, sweet, orange flesh. Considered an early variety, Beauregard is capable of producing large, blocky roots that store well. Does well in northern states as well as southern states; probably the best bet for marketable roots in cooler climates. Developed by Louisiana State University in 1987. We recommend using black-plastic for best results in northern states. 95-105 days in optimal conditions. Ships in Late May
