This Rocambole hardneck garlic produces large, bright purple bulbs containing 8–12 extra easy-to-peel cloves. The cloves are round, light brown in color, and accented with purple at the base, giving the bulbs a striking appearance. Known for its strong, hot, and spicy flavor, this variety is highly regarded for rich culinary use and classic garlic intensity.

It stores moderately well when properly cured and kept in ideal conditions. While adaptable enough to grow in milder climates, it develops the best bulb size, flavor, and color in regions with cold winters. Bulb coloration may become even brighter when plants experience mild stress from excess moisture.
