Description
Pre-nuclear potatoes are the earliest generation of potatoes. These are grown from tissue culture in our greenhouses. As these have never been grown in native soil and they are free of disease. These marble sized tubers can produce high yields of up to 200% or more by weight. Crescent shaped with lightly russeted thin skin and nutty tasting yellow flesh. Very firm when cooked, the pieces hold their shape in potato salads. Also flavorful when steamed, boiled or sauteed. Relatively high starch for a fingerling. (15 count)
