Description
Garlic starts shipping mid-September, cannot be shipped sooner. Softneck garlic is available in fall and early spring.
Nootka Rose Garlic is a Silverskin-type softneck heirloom originating from the San Juan Islands in Washington State. This Northwest variety produces medium to large bulbs with 15–24 cloves per bulb, each streaked with red against a mahogany background. It is known for its strong, full flavor and attractive appearance, making it especially desirable for culinary use and braiding. In very rich soils, the cloves may lose some of their rosy coloration while maintaining excellent quality and performance.
